Tackling Night-Time Motorbike Anti-Social Behaviour in Hethersett

Good news for residents of Heather Gardens & Ketts Meadow this week!
For months, we’ve all been plagued by a reckless individual riding a motorbike through the streets and revving it at all hours of the night. This kind of antisocial behaviour had to stop — it terrorised the peace in our community.
Many of you reached out to me with specific reports and I took that evidence straight to the local police. Working as a direct conduit between the community and the force, we got this resolved.
I want to give a massive, specific thank you to Beat Manager PC James Smith. PC Smith went above and beyond, working on his scheduled day off to process the evidence provided by you, the residents, and myself. He visited the individual and successfully issued a legal Section 59 Notice, effectively putting an end to this behaviour.
This is a perfect example of how community reporting combined with dedicated police action gets real results. When we work together, we get it sorted.
