I'm Ben — your Labour County Councillor for Hethersett
I was elected to Norfolk County Council to be a strong, visible voice for Hethersett. That means turning up for residents, working in partnership with police, schools and the parish council, and pushing hard at County Hall for the services and investment our community needs.
What I'm working on
Safer streets
Working with Norfolk Police on anti-social behaviour, bike thefts and reckless motorbike riding.
Fairer estate fees
Standing with residents pushed to breaking point by rising estate management charges from RMG, FirstPort and Gateway.
Climate that benefits residents
Sensible climate policy that lowers energy bills, protects public health and brings funding into Norfolk — not ideological cuts.
Ending fly-tipping
Campaigning to end fly-tipping in our Norfolk countryside and hold those responsible to account.
Traffic calming and roadworks coordination
Pushing for safer roads, better signage and improved coordination of roadworks to keep our division moving.
Adult social care and SEND
Fighting for better adult social care services and stronger support for children with special educational needs and disabilities.

Fighting for the residents of the Hethersett division
In the Norfolk County Council chamber.
Holding the administration to account, raising local concerns and pushing for the decisions that make a real difference to people across Hethersett, Little Melton, Colney, Bawburgh, East Carleton, Ketteringham, Flordon, Hethel and Bracon Ash.

A team working for Norfolk
I work closely with Ben Goldsborough MP, our local Labour Party, parish councillors and community groups to make sure Hethersett's voice is heard — in Westminster, at County Hall and on our doorstep.
If there's something happening in your street, your estate or your school that you think I should know about, please get in touch.
