Reform's attack on cultural displays in libraries - or not?
Half the cabinet says one thing, the other half deny it's policy. More shambolic communication from the administration.
🏳️🌈 Our Select Committee today covered Libraries and I was very keen to find out the administration's position on the reported Pride ban.
According to the Member for Communities, no such directive has been issued. Which is good news - and news he should probably tell fellow Cabinet Member, Cllr Scott Hussey who told the BBC the new rules were introduced after families raised concerns about activities in Norfolk libraries.
I wonder, then, despite directly quoted reporting to the contrary, why it took days to simply tell us this position was incorrect when they have been so quick to issue statements about net zero and flags?
