New FOI documents raise questions about the Chief Executive appointment

I have published new documents obtained through my Freedom of Information request concerning Norfolk County Council’s Chief Executive appointment.

As I said when sharing them, the documents raise serious questions about the appointment process. Residents deserve openness about how this important decision was made.

The Chief Executive serves the whole council. Confidence in that role depends on a process that is fair, transparent and based on merit. I will continue pressing for clear answers.
