Celebrating Hethersett’s Summer Reading Challenge
I had the pleasure of handing out awards at Hethersett Library on 19 September for this year’s Summer ‘Read to the Beat’ Reading Challenge.
I had the pleasure of handing out awards at Hethersett Library on 19 September for this year’s Summer ‘Read to the Beat’ Reading Challenge.
More than 40 children from across our division completed the challenge, each reading at least six books over the summer. A huge well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to the Friends of Hethersett Library for helping to make it happen.
Our libraries are much more than somewhere to borrow a book. They bring people together and give children a place to discover a love of reading.
